Dance Expressions participates in giving back to the community. We are SO blessed and can’t keep it for ourselves, which is why we are committed to community service, as well as dance education. We feel that a mixture of strong dance technique, good grades, and service to our community will build a well-rounded, engaged child with a good sense of self-esteem. We realize that while a small percentage of our students will make dance their career, all will become citizens of our society. If you or your child have a community service project close to your heart, let us know, as your DE family would love to work with you on your project.
Here are a few of our community projects:
- Adopt a family for Christmas
Serve dinner at a local homeless shelter
- Stuff back-to-school backpacks for kids in need
- Project Warmth – Collecting hats and gloves for those in need
- Valentine cards for local nursing homes
- Nursing home care packages
- Food drives
- Clothing drives
