(each genre is 30 minutes)

Ballet class will focus on barre, center work, and the fundaments of proper ballet technique in a professional, yet fun setting. Designed to increase body control, which in turn will enhance all other areas of dance and tumbling. Ballet is required to take tap and/or jazz.

Tap class is designed to develop rhythm, style, and sound. DE tap class will continue to build these tap techniques, and as students’ progress, they will be introduced to an increasingly more complex and intricate curriculum. This class must be taken in conjunction with ballet.

Jazz class will focus on the fundamentals of jazz dance including isolations, rhythm, musicality, alignment, and coordination. As students’ progress, they will be introduced to more advanced leaps, turns, and dance movements, along with fun combinations. This class must be taken in conjunction with ballet.

Hip-Hop is a high-energy, upbeat class that will introduce students to the style of hip-hop movement, teaching them rhythm, coordination, and age-appropriate hip hop choreography, with no suggestive music/movements.

Contemporary is a class where students will learn the lyrical techniques that use dramatic motion to interpret music and express emotion, as well as the expressive style of contemporary dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical, & ballet.

Musical Theater introduces students to all elements of theater combing music, dance, and spoken dialogue. This class will incorporate a combination of jazz and acting, where students will work jazz technique while portraying a character.

Class Attire:
Any color leotard. Bootie shorts and tights are optional. Sweats or leggings are recommended for Hip Hop. Barefoot for Contemporary.

Dancewear and shoes are available at the studio.

Fees:

• Registration Fee - $30 (This is a 1-time fee, due at time of registration)

• Class Tuition (due September-May)

  • Select the following classes (Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, OR Musical Theater)

    • One genre = $45 per month

    • Two genres = $72 per month

    • Three genres = $99 per month

    • Four genres = $120 per month

    • Five genres = $145 per month

    • Six genres = $165 per month

  • ADD Tumbling/Acro for $35-$60 per month, depending on length of class.

• Performance Package - includes recital costume(s) and the recital fee. (Due - Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb)

    • Ballet Costume (includes costume, tights, & tax) = $32 x 4 months

    • Jazz/Tap, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, & Musical Theater Costumes (includes costume & tax) = $28 each x 4 months

  • Recital Fee (includes recital t-shirt, DE gift, DE garment bag, digital copy of the shows, & Livestream access to all shows.) = $20 x 4 months
